Bacon and Windows WSL fails :-( (SOLVED)

- Using '/usr/bin/bash' to compile BaCon.

Hi gcav,

First, please note that BaCon is not supported for Windows even though it is running in Windows Subsystem for Linux (or in MinGW or Cygwin for that matter).

Having said that, it seems that there are problems with the "coproc" functionality, which is available since BASH 4.0. What version of BASH are you using?

If BASH is indeed version 4.x or higher then apparently WSL has an issue with coprocesses.

Alternatively, you can try to install ZSH or KSH to see if this works.

I installed zsh, and that worked.

BTW, the failed BASH version on WSL2/Ubuntu was:
