Hello, I have installed the most recent version of BACON and tried to run in Ubuntu 20.04, but it refuses to start. I get the following error in my syslog: I have GTK 3.0 installed as I use it for my C/C++ coding. Any ideas?

I found out what the issue is. This should be in the install notes, or prominent on the website when downloading.
GTKSourceView was not installed when I installed GTK+ 3.0.

Hello georgemcginn Thanks for posting the needed dependency and Welcome to the forum! *just a tip you may run into several more missing dependencies when and if you try to compile some of the many demos on the bacon web site or on the forum most of those dependencies will get picked up and installed in a script I wrote for debian based systems called auto-install-baconits in bash so all transparent to what is happening Great to see you already got bacon running without it but some of those deps will be needed along the way basic-converter.proboards.com/post/11365Joe
