I'm still not making much progress with the NavigationGui.
Gui making is difficult for me.
Both my brain-cells refuse to grasp all this Chinese.
Even when I use them together.
I figured to use HUG.
But then the mouse(1) gives weird responses, like 10392, when it should be 10 or 12 or so.
I thought to use CANVAS.
But canvas gives : Couldn't find matching GLX visual
On both my systems, Stretch and Buster on Rpi3.
So I thought to download an old BaCon, from the day before the new GUI possibilities were introduced.
Just to see if it was my fault, or if something is wrong with New-BaCon.
Since both Hug and Canvas seem to have worked with this older BaCon.
But I have already a bacon installed, and did not want to rid this.
So I installed bacon 3.9 in a separate folder
Compiled, made, made installed fine, and I have a nice bacon executable in ..../bacon/3.9/root/bin
But on BOTH my systems, it does not matter what I compile, even a PRINT "Hello World" gives an error:
I searched the forum
I searched the folders from this old bacon.
(I have libbacon.a and libbacon++.a but no -lbacon)
And I have had this 3.9 in the past without problems .
I must do something terribly wrong.
But I don't know what?
Rik.
