All, BaCon version 3.7.2 has just been released and can be obtained from the BaCon website. Please try to refresh your browser cache if the new package is not visible. This is a maintenance release containing a few improvements and fixes. - Handling of strings by reference now does not mix up the high performance string processing
- OPTION EXPLICIT to force explicit variable declaration
- Bug fixes
See the full list of changes for more details (again, please refresh your browser cache to see the latest). Thanks to the BaCon forum members for testing and providing feedback! Best regards Peter

Hello Peter Thanks you for your work I have Installed 3.7.2 Deb 64 bits But I have this Message : Syntax error: argument to OPTION at line 1 in file '/tmp/scratchpad.bac' not recognized!
Regards
I tried
PRINT VERSION$ OPTION EXPLICIT TRUE GLOBAL i TYPE NUMBER FOR i = 1 TO 5 PRINT i NEXT And It's OK
PRINT VERSION$ OPTION EXPLICIT TRUE REM GLOBAL i TYPE NUMBER FOR i = 1 TO 5 PRINT i NEXT Syntax error: OPTION EXPLICIT forces explicit variable declaration at line 4 in file '/home/joz/Notebooks/Developpement/Bacon/Compta/compta03/test1.bac'!
Also I think the option works well.
Regards

Dear Peter,
Thanks. Compiled nicely and runs as expected in RPI3 and Mint 32-bit. DId a few tests but will now try OPTION EXPLICIT, which looks very useful.
With kind regards, vovchik
