Peter,
I noticed you have a website for the BaCon project but use ProBoards for the forum. Is there any reason you don't host your own SMF forum so we don't have to deal with the resource draining movie ads (sometimes locking up my system) and the dreaded attachment issue. (members only)
Setting up a SMF forum take less than an hour if you don't get too crazy and go with the defaults. I had the BASM forum up and running in 15 minutes with a meaningful board layout.
John
P.S.
I'm ecstatic that vovchik and Alex have been able to merge the benefits of BaCon with the ease of use of BASM. I'm looking forward to seeing a few benchmarks between the two. (especially string related benchmarks and while loops)

Hi JRS, The reason is that it is free. Therefore you'll see some advertisements. So, if you are willing to pay for the hosting of a ad-free forum, then I'm fine For the benchmark, assembly always will win from compiled C code so we already know the outcome... BR Peter

If you're already paying for the main website the forum would ride along for free. FREE isn't what it's made out to be when it comes to the internet. Here is a ProBoards to SMF2.0 thread if you change your mind.
