If there is a person using Tiny Core Linux, please tell me.
I can run the main program of BaCon easily using package bacon.tcz. (or using bacon.bash and bacon.bac) However, using HUG(hug.bac) is troubled without being able to work. Oneself thinks that this problem can be settled by the addition of the package. I want you to tell what package is necessary.

Hi,
I tried to get BaCon loaded onto Tiny Core a couple of years ago with no luck. Talking to the Core programmers, it has something to do with a smaller version of bash/korn. The guys over there are "size phobic" and have no interest in getting it to work. That is why they only use FLTK.
Shame as you could have BaCon on a thumb drive if it worked.......

The language zone of Unicode is sacrificed by "size phobic". This will sacrifice many users including China. The application is garbled with Tiny Core Linux as FLTK 1.3.
Therefore I change an engine part made in FLTK to BaCon and remake it. And I intend to release it as fork of Tiny Core Linux.
(Re)build Linux distribution in BaCon.
Will it be an interesting story?

I felt that oneself should investigate a cause from a simple cord. Therefore after trying GTK library, this sample works. On the other hand, there is SEGMENTSTION FAULT in Glade library and cannot work for the moment. It seems to be necessary to lose problems from this neighborhood. A message is not given at all in HUG, but is there the method to confirm? Attachments:

Will it be an interesting story? Are you going to fix it and fork it? I will be glad to help test it! What are your plans and ideas? Will it come with BaCon pre installed? John

WOW! HUG has begun to run! I searched for short Apps, but there was not it particularly. Some sample sources did not work. I seemed to choose it by select. Attachments:

John Lightweight distribution Puppy Linux changes some GUI into BaCon recently. I know that the Puppy person concerned talked in this forum to operate it. (I knew BaCon from Puppy Linux) I thought that there was the same thing in Tiny Core Linux.

I believe Tiny Core uses FLTK ( Fast Light Tool Kit ), not GTK ( Gimp Tool Kit ).
I`m not up on all this stuff, but it seems that may be the HUG problem.
I`ve used T.C. and I like it. Very innovative engineering of a Linux distro.

Very innovative engineering of a Linux distro. Yep, it's small and fast but uses a crippled version of bash I think. The devs told me that bacon.bash would never run and they didn't see the point in it. Would have been fun tho. John
