Thanks for your heads up bigbass!
For the latest beta, I am planning to release 2.4 on January 1, 2014.
Most improvements relate to the associative arrays: SORT now can sort the values in associative arrays (numeric or string), also ISKEY can query if an index exists, and FREE does not destroy the insertion order any longer.
Next to this, also variable handling has been improved; previously, only plain assignments (e.g. LET) could assign values to record elements or associative arrays. Now this can be done directly in almost all situations.
Because of that, a couple of statements needed to be redesigned, which fixed a couple of potential bugs improving the generated C code.
Also, new are the requested ENUM statement and a plain ascii character COUNT function.
BR, Peter

I haven't actually used BaCon yet, just waiting for the new release.
Happy New Year!

Hi Joe, thanks for the links, especially the first one. I've had a browse through the forum and see that you are a major contributor. Your GUI tutorials look very useful. Hopefully Peter will release the new version today sometime, after he's recovered from last night.
