This is my first venture into BaCon programming: a retro screensaver using xset. I made it for Puppy Linux Dpup Exprimo (3.4 kernel). I experienced problems with the settings of xset and found that /root/.xset.h was not generated as it should at startup, nor initiated when it is, forcibly, present. That is not yet solved in Puppy. Anyway, I made program to handle xset in BaCon. Source and executables are attached. There is no manual or help. It is not that complicated but I tried to make the ui such that it is self-explanatory. The jpg's must be copied into /usr/share/pixmaps. The program generates /root/.xset.sh and /root/.xsetsaved. It is not well programmed, I admit, but it works very well. That's' a compliment to BaCon, not to me. I look forward to any suggestions to help improve my programming. Attachments:
