Hey John The above was packaged for slackware 13.37 using xz compression *.txz So just remember raw source files uncompiled = *.tar.xz and packaged binaries to use in distros like slackware = *.txz and raw source files uncompiled = *. tar.gz and when packaged for old style slackware = *.tgz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is also packaged for slackware 13.37 but it is a tar.gz once a package is made that can be installed it gets a name change to *.tgz This one is easier to uncompress to see whats inside bigbass-porteus.googlecode.com/files/unzipper_dragNdrop-1.02-i486-6_PORT.tgzJoe
