thanks for the compiling report
of course professional CNC software is the best to
complete testing but for a quick low level check this GUI terminal
will auto detect the serial device and give you some low level feedback
and you can send gcode manually without installing the large CNC software
brief docs if you want to verify with Grbl
after setting your device and port
click the connect icon
if Grbl is detected
you can clear the screen
and type
$$
then press enter or the triangle icon Send
should show many empty values
clear the screen
and now lets see if Grbl is saving your settings
and set up some values we check if the communication
to the Grbl driver allows us read write access
copy and paste
