version 4.3.2 on Linux armv7l The following code gives unexpected results: SUB something ' \ PRINT "bonjour" PRINT "au revoir" END SUB
SUB something_else ' \ PRINT "bonjour" PRINT "au revoir" END SUB
PRINT PRINT "something :" something
PRINT PRINT "something_else :" something_else
result: Even nastier is this one: SUB something_completely_else ' \ END SUB Rik.

version 4.3.2 on Linux armv7l The following code gives unexpected results: These results are expected. The '\' symbol is part of a comment and will be ignored so the PRINT will be executed. If you want to wrap comment over multiple lines then you can use the C-style /* and */ pairs. Even nastier is this one: This works correctly in the Shell version (the '/' symbol is ignored) but in the BaCon version it works only when the comment is at the beginning of the line. So that is not very consequent, it is fixed in the latest beta. Thanks, Peter
