All, BaCon version 4.3.2 has been released and can be obtained from the BaCon website. Please try to refresh your browser cache if the new package is not visible in your browser immediately. This mostly is a maintenance release, only introducing a new binary tree API. Next to the code cleaning, the many regular bug fixes and code improvements, the WALK$ function has improved in stability and performance. Also, two long-standing issues were fixed: - The TRACE mode now also works correctly with IF/ELIF/ELSE constructions
- The Shell version now can correctly parse statements which refer to their own name
Lastly, the GUI functions now also can use the recently released GTK4 library. A big thanks to everybody who has contributed to this latest release! See the full list of changes for more details (please refresh your browser cache to see the latest). Best regards Peter

Dear Peter,
As we have come to expect, the latest version compiled fine on Pi4 (Buster/testing) and Mint 19 (64 bit). Bish also compiles and runs fine. I will test further. Thanks.
With kind regards, vovchik
And the RUN statement looks interesting, too.

Hello Peter Thanks for all your ongoing work with bacon
I tested over 30 gtk3 demo examples on 64 bit updated a lot of my old code from 32 bit and all is fine so far this is great news
later I will do a cmake test build to see if anything is different on mint 20.1
most of my edits were expected 64 bit porting differences not related problems with bacon
Joe
