I was browsing the BaCON site, taking in all of the new stuff and found the Sqlite3 include file. Cool stuff. Then I ran across your simple editor and WOW! Nice. I've been writing a simple editor also but yours blows mine out of the water. Simple clean code where mine is a mess as usual. ;D I am able to compile bacon, c and cpp code. I've also added a separate output pane with a splitter bar. Was wondering how to make a config file and where/how to do this in linux. Thanks for the example code. I'm sure I'll borrow some of your ideas for my editor. Doyle

Thanks Doyle!
My Source Code Editor also creates a configfile in the homedirectory of the user. Just check the code, especially the functions "Load_Defaults" and "Save_Defaults", and you'll see how it is done.
