Hello the last post Peter commented "the code is small" yes and the binary file too thanks for giving it a try ----------------------------------------- Here is QML 101 first step to drawing something you can reuse the bacon code to load more qml files I did this today and it was pretty easy (from a non artist) wanted to see what would it take to draw something in QML sourceforge.net/p/bacon-qt5/wiki/QML-DRAW/Joe

QML load image and sound demo sourceforge.net/projects/bacon-qt5/files/DEMO_SOURCE/bruce-lee-qml.tar.gz/downloadQML vs GTK3 its a lot more work to code in gtk3 simplified in QML it was very easy later will add in some animation you may need some modules (same idea as shared libs) we import instead of IMPORT but you just import the whole whole library once --------------------------------------------- on debian you could run this command to see the modules (non kde ones) for a big list apt-cache search qml | grep qml-module-qt
for just the modules to get started with you can install just these should work for almost all the demos you find using apt-get qml-module-qtquick2 qml-module-qtquick-controls2 qml-module-qtquick-window2 qml-module-qtqml qml-module-qtmultimedia

Hello Peter
Thanks for your comments!
I spent a lot of time just doing simple widgets and keeping things easy
now from here forward Just want to focus on the creative stuff
and I want to say thanks for all your High quality work on bacon and other supporting bacon projects
It still surprises me we can even throw c++ code at the bacon compiler and it just works that's really cool and for those who prefer not to take advantage of that added feature fine but I can confirm clearly it works and well!
