Hi All and & Peter
Found a problem . think what I be mentioning goes further ...
Thought would try Mint Cinnamon a try think this is a bit of a show stopper.
Installed Bacon .. crank up the Gui . type some code then compile :
Result
have tested a simple gtk gui with a button in (c) using dlopen , guess what = same result
Think this may also confirm what was happening on the BASM thread RE:: Vovchik.
also think that the problem lays in calling a second function from within the callback ?? not confirmed . but foe me this it where it happens
BaCon and BaCon.sh work fine.
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant.
will now try and see what happens with hug
Alex
Update , 1. on c code looking at a free within the function .. = corruption. as above.
