Hi guys, long time.
I have a new 64 bit Linux Mint 17 install and wanted to use Bacon again. For some reason, Bacon can't find my gtk.h header files.
Bacon tells me:
Problem: file './test_.bac.cpp' line 25: PRAGMA INCLUDE gtk/gtk.h Cause: No such file or directory
find tells me:
$ find /usr/include -name "gtk.h" /usr/include/gtk-2.0/gtk/gtk.h /usr/include/gtk-3.0/gtk/gtk.h
OK, let's use the full path:
PRAGMA INCLUDE /usr/include/gtk-3.0/gtk/gtk.h PRAGMA INCLUDE /usr/include/gtk-3.0/gdk/gdk.h
Now Bacon tells me:
Problem: file '/usr/include/gtk-3.0/gtk/gtk.h' line 30: #include <gdk/gdk.h> Cause: No such file or directory
uname -a Linux doyle-vb 3.13.0-24-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 10 19:11:08 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Any suggestions on what to do? Any more info needed just ask.
Thanks, Doyle

Thanks for the reply. I've been away for quite some time and Bacon has changed a lot (for the better, it seems!)
Thanks, I'll take a look. Seems I have some relearning to do.
I actually got my program to compile last night by using the following:
PRAGMA LDFLAGS `pkg-config --cflags --libs gtk+-3.0`
PROTO exit,gtk_init,gtk_builder_new_from_string,g_object_unref,gtk_main
Unfortunately, it runs but no window is shown. Thanks for the pointers, it is appreciated!
