Hello vovchik I like how you combined the zoom and fullscreen would even look better when I connect to the big TV when you think about all the things that can be done with webkit it is a very complex program that pulls in many things to learn example how it handles signals is very intelligent I have not used java so that will be another thing I will have to investigate we need to download files from the forum using webkit maybe some workarounds to keep it all somewhat easy for any RPI3 users *when I first tried webkit with my old rpi3 version nothing worked correctly and it was a mess to sort out so having an updated rpi3 is a must Joe

Dear Joe,
Thanks for testing. I think we are making some progress. I love it that the bassix browser loads instantly and is responsive - great also for reading local html docs. I will now try to figure out how to engage a download function. The option is there in the popup on a web page, but we have to do something with policies - also we have to find out about storing passwords and cookies - in order to get these things to work. Webkit is indeed very powerful, and the syntax is not bad at all. We are making good progress, I think.
With kind regards, vovchik
