All,
The latest version build 22 can be obtained from the BaCon website.
Highlights:
Extended internationalization Selective inclusion of BaCon files with INCLUDE BaCon URL arguments
As usual there are multiple fixes for several platforms.
BaCon releases follow a two-monthly schedule and are made available after testing on several platforms, including MacOSX, Tru64Unix, Solaris, OpenBSD and Linux.
Thanks to all who have helped with this release, especially to forum members Badep, BarryK and l18l for their suggestions and testing.
Happy BASIC coding! Peter

Good to see you're still making progress with BaCon.
I noticed the "multiple fixes" link is bad.

Were there any changes to the HUG library in this release?

Ooops, sorry - fixed.
No particular improvements in HUG, other than the last one, regarding PROPERTY.
Best regards Peter

Peter, I just ugraded my Ubuntu 64 box to Natty Norwall (11.04) I did not like Unity so I switched back to Ubuntu Classic using these simple instructions: http://www.geekgumbo.com/2011/05/04/swit....-gnome-desktop/
All seems fine with the few tests I ran with BaCon (1.22).

Hi James,
That whole Unity thing was the very reason I did not upgrade to 11.04 myself. In fact, I was looking into other distributions to see if I could install one of those. Didn't know one could change to Gnome anyway!
Thanks, Peter

Here is a deb I created that works on Ubuntu 10.04 and up as well as Debian Squeeze.
Peter - feel free to put it up on your website after you have tried it out if you wish.
edit - the name should be - bacon_1.0-22_i386.deb - looks like the forum stripped the characters away.

You're welcome. Just make sure to change the name to the one I mentioned in my edit of the post where I uploaded it as the forum stripped away the "-" and "_" characters from it. This will keep it in line with proper debian naming convention.

Thanks.
It includes bacon.bash, bacon, bacongui and hug.bac. The source .bac files are in /usr/lib/bacon.

Thanks again Fragadelic!
Yesterday I was in quite a hurry and had not much time to update the site, but again I really appreciate your contributions!
Best regards Peter
